Ringing

My boyfriend said he was going to take a shower and hung up. I was lying in bed, but then the phone rang again. He couldn’t have already showered, right? Wondering what was going on, I picked up the phone, but he kept talking about something else. His voice sounded strange. His breathing was rough. When I asked what he was doing, he wouldn’t answer and kept changing the subject. Could it be… that he’s doing it alone right now?!
