“You’re not good at it.” The woman’s words come as a huge shock to the man. He didn’t think he was particularly good, but hearing it out loud was different. “Was I the only one who enjoyed it?” he wonders. Staying true to his personality, he goes out and buys books, determined to study and improve. But as he becomes increasingly absorbed in his studies, the woman begins to suspect that he might be cheating on her. In the end, the man comes clean and confesses, “I’ve been studying.”
