While browsing an app, I found a place I really liked. The owner said they liked my place, too. So we decided to swap homes for a month. When I arrived at his place, he called to walk me through the house. From the welcome drink he’d prepared, remembering something I’d mentioned in passing, to everything I discovered one by one, it felt like we were surprisingly in sync.
