MT

It was a college MT (membership training) I didn’t even want to attend. Regretting my decision, I had a few drinks—despite not being much of a drinker—and eventually went to sleep in the room. I’m not sure how much time had passed, but the noise of people chatting loudly outside woke me up. As I shifted uncomfortably, trying to adjust my awkward sleeping position, his face came into view—right in front of mine. The reason I came to this MT in the first place was him. Just then, he stirred in his sleep and moved closer to me.
