Public and Private

I never thought I’d run into her again – especially at the same company, ten years after we broke up. I tried to get along, I really did. But she wasn’t the same. She ignores my messages and makes things uncomfortable. I know why she’s doing it. And yet, her actions keep shaking me. We both have our own families now… I know this isn’t right… but every time I see her, it feels like my heart goes back to those days.
