Lies and Lies

A man and woman who work together have feelings for each other but haven’t been able to express them. On April Fool’s evening, the man texts the woman first. Using the occasion as an excuse, the two flirt with each other, half-joking, half-serious. When the woman texts, “Wanna come in for some ramen?”. The man goes straight to her place. Standing at her door, he tells her that it’s now past midnight, so anything from this point on won’t be a joke.
