The Bite

My sweetheart’s only real hobby is fishing. He’s been asking me to come with him for a while, so I finally tagged along -- mostly to see what could possibly be so fun. But… wow. It’s actually way more fun than I expected. Before we knew it, we were completely absorbed, and time just flew by. When evening came, we sat down to eat the meal he’d prepared. After a beer, that warm, drowsy feeling washed over me. I headed into the bungalow to get some sleep… but something about what he’s doing feels a little strange.
